Blogging: Promoting Literacy via Web2.0

Tired of struggling to reach out to the digital natives in your classroom? Looking for

ways to create a classroom culture infused with technology? Blogging may be the

answer. This three-day session walks participants through creating a blog and

explores theconcept of blogging. Participants create a lesson to use with their

own students,discover how to use the blog to create teacher and student portfolios,

and learnways to manage and assess blogging. Participants will leave armed with
